The current Curator, a retired signalman from Knapford, has announced a new initiative: "Project Smokebox." This ambitious plan aims to use Lidar scanning to create full 3D renderings of every surviving locomotive chassis stored within the Works. By 2028, fans may be able to walk through a virtual version of the Archive from their living rooms.
